Alesis HiHat pedal to trigger Kick Drum

Mad Scientist mode, trying to figure way to trigger this #Alesis High Hat pedal to use as a Kick Drum Trigger. I think the wood block too tough tho. Dug thru my drawer and found a nice rubber eraser. Going to attach with tape to test. Crossing fingers. Video to follow if all goes well. Also looking at replacing a part up front with rubber block.

RavPower All in 1 FileHub quick look I tried but alas the AVCHD format that Sony and Panasonic use for video is a no go , I had hoped it would convert on the fly. shot this in MP4 mode and edited in Lumafusion on my iPadPro. Shot with Full Frame Sony A7 camera and an Vintage 35mm F2.8 lens. Alas importing Sony/Panasonic AVCHD Video Files is a no go. Checkout our Music at
