Tamron 90mm F2.5 Macro Lens on Sony A7 today we take another foray into the Vintage Vault. This time with an old Tamron F2.5 Macro lens for the Minolta Maxxum 35mm Film Camera so we have to use the trusty Sony LA-EA4 A mount to E/FE mount adaqpter. . I'm so glad I listened to Jason Lanier when I saw him mention how well the LA-EA4 works in one of his videos, I've since amassed a fairly large collection of Minolta Maxxum Mount and Sony A mount lenses to use on my A7.... inexpensively! I've amassed 9 or 10 A mount lenses and the adapter for LESS than the price of the Sony 90mm FE mount lens or 24-240mm alone. Of course there are tradeoff's like a maximum aperture of F3.5 in Autofocus mode when shooting Video but it's NOT the end of the world.
