Baauer brought the breakbeat fire to Holly's Remix EP, Alameda 1000 (The Remixes).
In September of this year, Brazilian bass music superhuman Holly brought us the Alameda 1000 EP, featuring some of the top talent in both the EDM and hip-hop domains. Now, to polish off the year, the 24-year-old talent has delivered an equally massive collection of remixes. The EP contains the stylings of both established and up-and-coming producers who have gone above and beyond to add their own unique flavors to Holly’s distinct sound.
The premiere track on Alameda 1000 (The Remixes) is a rework from none other than EDM legend Baauer of "Harlem Shake" fame. Kicking things off with the breakbeat sound that has come to be his signature, Baauer sets the stage for a dance floor dinger in a way that only he truly can. When the drop hits, Jersey club madness ensues - all glued to together by the vocal chops and electrifying tension that we could only expect from the bass music Ben Franklin himself.
Holly will surely coast off this momentum into 2020, where he will continue destroying genre barriers with his experimental and prolific musical stylings.
