Grammy Award-Winning Rock Band Wolfmother Goes EDM in New Single "High On My Own Supply"

The future bass single represents a stark contrast from the band's hard rock catalog.

Swapping finger picks with future bass, Australian rockers Wolfmother recently unveiled their new single "High On My Own Supply." The track represents a stark contrast from the award-winning band's celebrated catalog of hard rock and metal, which was amassed by its prolific frontman and only continuous member, Andrew Stockdale.

Considering it represents the first time Wolfmother has deviated from their rock roots, the fact that fans have largely disapproved of "High On My Own Supply" does not take away from its brilliance. The track is a soaring future bass effort that takes a page out of MGMT's quirky, kaleidoscopic playbook, utilizing euphoric synths and vocal chops in its intoxicating chorus.

The new single should open up a new lane of admirers for the band behind the global smash "Joker and the Thief," who did a fantastic job of flashing their versatility by producing a sublime electronic number with a subtle tincture of indie rock flair.
