Zeds Dead Drop Unique Drum 'n' Bass Track, "Sound Of The Underground" with Urbandawn

It's off the forthcoming We Are Deadbeats, Vol. 4 compilation.

Zeds Dead, titans of electronic music, are back to explore a new sound. In collaboration with drum 'n' bass mainstay Urbandawn, the duo have dropped "Sound Of The Underground." The track is the first single off their forthcoming WE ARE DEADBEATS, Vol. 4 compilation, set to arrive January 14th, 2020.

The track is a gritty, eccentric piece of work. It begins with a distant, ominous drum build as the standard fast breakbeat of drum 'n' bass enters to the forefront. The intensity switches gear as unique bass work is thrown in the mix with a hodgepodge of other noises. Overall, the track provides that feeling of structured chaos that thrives in live performances.

Zeds Dead (real names Dylan Mamid and Zachary Rapp-Rovan) caught fans' attention this week by hashtagging #WeAreDeadbeats on Twitter. Previously, the WE ARE DEADBEATS compilation albums have been composed of various artists all with their own original songs. On Vol. 4, each track will feature a collaboration between the Deadbeats label heads and their fellow artists.

The tracklist will feature songs with Holly, Subtronics, Loge21, Deathpact, DNMOGG Magree, Omar Linx, Ganja White Night, Dion Timmer, Jauz, Delta Heavy, DROELOE, Slushii, and the previously mentioned track with Urbandawn. Stay tuned in the following weeks as more drop from the forthcoming compilation album.
