Claptone, Walker & Royce, Moon Boots, Eli & Fur, Sacha Robotti, J. Phlip and more will deliver proper day party festivities on New Years Day.
Today, The Midway SF announced their second annual New Years Day party team-up, Fresh Start. The expansive event brings together the superpowers of EDM industry-leading production crews like Set SF, Goldenvoice, Electroluxx, Pizza & Techno, Euphonic Conceptions, and Heavy Petting Zoo.
Primed as the perfect afterparty to any NYE countdown celebration, the January 1st shindig serves up a taste of Burning Man’s mythic deep playa tech house with a main course of Dirtybird’s signature flair. With more heavyweight producers than a Hollywood blockbuster, the proverbial stage is set for the ultimate rendezvous for anyone with a New Year’s resolution to spend more time among friends.
The announcement continues The Midway SF’s tradition of serving up the hottest names in house music in an electric, intimate setting. In addition to a juggernaut of a guest headliner who has yet to be revealed, the fabled plague doctor Claptone joins the fray alongside budding world-class tastemakers Eli & Fur and the quirky, feel-good rhythms of Moon Boots. Also, Desert Hearts darling Sacha Robotti will insatiate crowd-wide cravings for "Sloth Acid," while Dirtybird duchess J. Phlip presents her own exceptional sonic phenomena.
Also topping the bill are dynamic track-crafters Walker & Royce, and potent stylings from Jeremy Olander as well as scintillating cadences from underground excelsior and audio engineer Elax. Rounding out the bill are street sensations like Arnold & Lane, DNSB, Foolie, Late Eighties, Michiø, N808, Riffa and Willaa. It’s a fitting next chapter in Midway’s storied history of curating high-quality lineups stacked with cutting-edge headliners who have a penchant fun you can actually hear.
Fresh Start is slated to take place in San Francisco’s bustling Dogpatch part of town where a street closure will expand the available space with two outdoor stages to compliment the two already inside The Midway SF. Food trucks, vendors, and a bevy of healthy options like smoothies and pressed juice will be available onsite too.
Attendance is forecast at around 5,000 attendees, but with a lineup like this and prices at a mere $35 to $50, tickets won’t last. Get tickets here and for updates and other news visit The Midway SF website or RSVP on the FB Event page.
