The video is a kaleidoscopic homage to the LGBTQ community.
Dance pop duo Joy Club have unveiled the official music video for their debut single "In the Night," a blithe audiovisual homage to the LGBTQ community. Joy Club, a new electronic act consisting of Nathan Cross of Grammy Award-nominated production outfit Meduza and James Watts, released "In the Night" back in March 2020.
Directed by Sam Douek, the music video, which features proud members of the LGBTQ community dancing in front of playfully kaleidoscopic backdrops, is a vibrant and potent ode to Pride Month.
The mirthful and empowering video features Blu Hydrangea, who appeared as a contestant on the first season of celebrated reality television series RuPaul's Drag Race, as well as many of the dancers and drag queens from Dalston Superstore, a cherished LGBTQ London staple with unique art installations, live music shows, and weekend drag brunches.
