At a time when it seems the festival boom has been wrung of its innovation, MDL Beast's organizers have proven there are still new ideas to explore. The Saudi Arabian festival has begun a series of artist announcements showing that it will specialize in unheard of back-to-back (B2B) sets between EDM's biggest DJs.
Arguably the biggest pairings on the lineup are Martin Garrix B2B Tiësto and Steve Aoki B2B David Guetta. Among the others announced are Afrojack B2B R3hab, Black Coffee B2B Marco Carola, Camelphat B2B FISHER, and Salvatore Ganacci B2B Sebastian Ingrosso.
Outside of B2Bs, the roster also includes a house-heavy selection of globetrotting DJs like Jamie Jones, Danny Tenaglia and Bedouin. Joining them are such Saudi mainstays as IBZ, Baloo, Anmarz and Hatoon Idrees.
MDL Beast's inaugural edition will take place opposite the Durrat Al Riyadh Resort & Spa in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from December 19th-21st. For more information, visit the event website.
