Cyberpunk 2077 unveiled their star-studded soundtrack during The Game Awards 2019.
At the 2019 edition of The Game Awards this week, a new trailer showcasing the music of Cyberpunk 2077 was shown. Throughout the trailer, various musicians shared how excited they were to be included in the game against the backdrop of footage from the highly anticipated action RPG.
Included in the trailer were artists like A$AP Rocky, Run The Jewels, and Refused, while on the electronic music side of things, Nina Kraviz and Grimes were some of the featured contributors. The full list of artists announced can be viewed in the embedded video above.
In support of her appearance in the game, at the awards ceremony, Grimes (real name Claire Boucher) performed her song "4ÆM," which is set to be included in the soundtrack.
In addition to her musical contributions, she has been cast to voice the character Lizzy Wizzy in the game. She's not the only star to be included in Cyberpunk 2077's cast, as developers CD Projekt Red announced that Keanu Reeves' likeness and voice would be used to bring a major character to life.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set for worldwide release on April 16th, 2020 on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can pre-order the game here.
