Avicii's Father Speaks on the Tribute Concert in New Interview

In a recent interview, Avicii's father talked about the tribute concert dedicated to his son.

In a new interview with TV4, Klas Bergling spoke on the tribute concert dedicated to his son Avicii. It was filmed after the concert, and Bergling explained some of the logistics behind the event and shared what it meant to him and his family.

He also spoke on some of the struggles his son faced with addiction, and about how he got clean and then relapsed. Although the interview is in Swedish, it is subtitled in English. You can view the entire 30-minute video below or on the official TV4 website here.

The event featured performances from David Guetta, Kygo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Laidback Luke, and Nicky Romero before a live band performed a medley of hits from the late Swedish superstar alongside many of the original vocalists.

The event's host, The Tim Bergling Foundation, founded by his father, donated all proceeds from the show to charities supporting youth mental health and suicide prevention. The entire tribute concert has been uploaded to YouTube after its live stream on Thursday.
