Chimera's being pretty secretive about their new lighting rig prototype. All they could tell us is that it's a major universal adapter for 1 x 1 LED's. Apparently, they've created a new style ring that can be used with octobanks, so they went form a traditional 1 x 1 light bank to a 7 or 8 foot octobank. The prototypes are merely days old, so we'll have to wait to see what it looks like, but in the mean time, you check out their new blog Chasing Light that has interviews with gaffers and crew people about life on set.
